MIRACULOUS MEDAL

Our Lady asked to have the Medal struck; which was approved by then Archbishop of Paris, Msgr de Quelen and the King of France.
February 1832, terrible cholera epidemic broke out in Paris with over 20,000 deaths
French King commanded for the Medal to be distributed; epidemic miraculously stopped
Originally, called Medal of the Immaculate Conception
Due to many miracles of healing and conversion, later called the Miraculous Medal
Our Lady identifies herself as the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION
Dogma declared 24 years later, 1854

Our Mother's Promise:

"ALL WHO WEAR IT WILL RECEIVE GREAT GRACES; THEY SHOULD WEAR IT AROUND THE NECK. GRACES WILL ABOUND FOR PERSONS WHO WEAR IT WITH CONFIDENCE."
